NEW WORK #2 JEROME'S PLEA

 

Please let me live, so I can feel the sun on my face.

Jerome's Plea.

Jerome would have been euthanized for no reason.

Because that's what they do to animals when they're unwanted.

The reasoning behind that is their lives will be so much better when they're dead.

That makes no sense to me.

What a sad society.

I adopted Jerome, and all my cats.

I want them to feel the sun on their faces -

and live.

Most of my profit from the cat works will go to helping my local non kill shelter.

And perhaps even adopting another who wants to feel the sun a few more times.

ORLANDO DISCONNECT 

This piece is about happiness and tragedy. 

 From afar,

it looks happy, and fun and colorful.

However if you look closely- you will see the wires are chewed, causing disconnection.

In every mass killing there is something gone awry, something severely disconnected.

People don't see it unless they look closer.

In my lifetime, the gay bars have probably been one of the most fun places to go.

Many of my friends and associates are gay.

Gay people are some of the best people on Earth.

To attack people that cannot defend themselves is the most

cowardly act someone could do, whether it be gay people,

children, people in a rock club, theater, etc.

Look closer.

Look for the disconnect,

and protect yourself and your beloveds.

I ask that you follow your intuition, and see the disconnect-
